HRA Annual Conferences - Next Conference: HRA Conference 2010 West & Training -
The last HRA Conference was held Oct 1st & 2nd, 2009 near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Thursday was the Training Day and Friday was the Conference. Both events were be held at the Novotel Hotel in Mississauga. Note that the Novotel is directly across the street from Square One, billed as the biggest shopping centre in Eastern Canada!
The HRA Conferences focused on getting the most out of HRA. This year's theme was "Sharing the Wealth". The theme reflects the growing interest by HR departments to use HRA to share HRA throughout their organizations with Senior Management, Managers & the Employees themselves.
We have two separate classes for most of the Training & Conference so that we can have a beginners/intermediate class and a seperate intermediate/advanced class. This allows the training to be given for the appropriate skill and knowledge levels for each class. We also ask all attendees to bring their own laptops to the conference loaded with HRA and their company data. This allows for hands on, targeted Report Writer training at the correct skill levels plus attendees can take the reports that they write during the conference home with them.
The next HRA Conference will be held in June, 2010 in Vancouver, Canada.
