Market Technologies has made a financial donation to the East Pasco S.T.E.P.S program
Wesley Chapel, FL, August 8, 2006 — Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned, Inc. 500, trading software company, has made a donation to the East Pasco S.T.E.P.S program, a charitable organization that provides school supplies to less fortunate families in need.
Last year alone the S.T.E.P.S program was able to provide over 400 children the school supplies needed to start a new school year. Market Technologies not only had a supply collection box placed within its corporate headquarters, but also made a financial contribution to the program. Through its collection box Market Technologies was able to collect such supplies as pens, pencils, backpacks and books along with several other items. The financial contribution made will also be put to the beneficial use of buying any additional items that were not obtained through the donation. Funds and donations made within each community are kept within the area. “It is unfortunate that some children have to attend their first day of school with out the supplies needed,” said Lane Mendelsohn, Vice President. “Market Technologies is always happy to support worthy charitable causes, especially those that are located and provide aid to those in our community.”
